PROJECTS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE & OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUNDING

In addition to the DTP route for obtaining funding for a research studentship, the G2RG are happy to discuss self-funding for MSc (by research) and PhD projects. Occasionally we have opportunities that include industry funded studentships or UK Space Agency or Science Technology Facilities Council awards. For Scottish students expecting to obtain first class degrees the Carnegie Trust Scotland provides funding awards. We would encourage you to discuss various opportunities with G2RG staff if you wish to pursue a MSc or PhD that utilises state-of-the-art mass spectrometry in geochronology and geochemistry.
